Policies & Procedures

Please reach us at contactus@cabinetsplus.online if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Projects cannot be placed into production until a contract is signed, final renderings are approved and a material deposit is received. If the contract total is not paid in full at the time of order and a payment plan is requested, a Credit Application and Promissory Note MUST be signed. {All credit scores are accepted}. A mandatory shop meeting is required for final color selections and review of final rendering. All paperwork can be signed at this time.

Pre-liens are automatically placed on every parcel # in which Installation by Cabinets Plus LLC occurs. A Final Release Waiver will be released upon final payment and no action filed.

A copy of our warranty is available online and a hard copy will be emailed upon receipt of Final Payment. Warranties become Null and Void if final payment has not been paid and the account has been submitted to Collections.

Ready To Assemble Cabinets are Not warrantied under the general Cabinets Plus LLC Warranty. Ready To Assemble cabinets manufactured by another are covered under the warranty provided directly by the original manufacturer only. All Ready To Assemble cabinets have a one year warranty and should issues arise that are  covered the manufacturer shall be contracted directly. Please refer to instructions and warranty information provided by Cabinets Plus LLC.

Cabinets Plus LLC is not responsible for any potential damage to walls, wall tiles, paint or flooring should any such damage occur as a result of Demo work or Installation of Cabinets.

Cabinets Plus LLC is NOT responsible for moving any appliances. Plumbing and or Electical Issues MUST be addressed by either of those particular trades or a general handyman.  A licensed professional in these areas of expertise is highly recommended. It is the Client’s responsibility to provide their own licensed Contractor or Handyman on site to shut off water valves, move any electrical outlets as well as Install or move any major appliances. This includes sinks and faucets!

Installation practices require a clean, debris free space. If Demo is required to remove old cabinets and or countertops, it is required that all cabinets be completely emptied and ready. On Installation of new cabinets, the area must be clean, have no objects obstructing the area so that the Installers can move about with space to Install the new cabinets. The floors should be swept free of debris as well prior to the new cabinets being placed. If a demo is requested, there will be additional labor charges applied, and the Demo needs to be requested in advance so that proper instruction and scheduling time can be applied. In the event that Demo is denied, if the task is not completed upon Installers arrival, client will be provided with the option for Cabinets Plus LLC to perform the Demo with the additional charges or to reschedule the Installation for the next available date of which an additional trip charge will apply. All Installation included projects Must be purchased by parcel property owners of legal age requirements.

Time frames are estimated dates. Be advised that additional time may be required at the discretion of Cabinets Plus LLC for a variety of reasons. As with any hand made item, delays can be a normal occurrence due to material shortages, employee leave times, etc. We ask that all orders are placed well in advance to allow for any unexpected occurrences. During the final Application processes we will be contacting you either via phone or email to schedule for will call pickup or Delivery and Installation.

All Deliveries as well as Will Call Orders will be scheduled. This is to ensure all final paperwork and final payments are completed prior to cabinets being prepared for transport.

There are NO CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS OR CREDITS once Deposit has been received.

HOW IS CUSTOM PRICING CALCULATED?

*Ready To Assemble Cabinets: Check our special deal promotions. We match competitor quotes on the same items. (Must be the same door style, color and manufacturer.

*Custom Cabinets: As Custom Cabinet Makers, Cabinets Plus LLC  determines the cost of making the cabinets based on several key factors:

  1. Materials. The type of materials used greatly influence the cost of the overall project. (ex: Solid wood is more expensive than particle board with Hard rock Maple Interiors or MDF). Exotic Woods are 2 to 3 times more costly than our standard hardwoods (Maple or Clear Alder).
  2. Door Style. Keep in mind, the more detailed the door style, the more costly it becomes. Different Door Styles require different techniques and a variety of cutters used for cutting. The most helpful advice on door styles is going to come from your project manager, who can assist in selecting the door style that best fits your desire, as many different styles can look very similar, yet be more cost effective than the other. Trendy door styles also drive up the price, so take time to review styles that you like more than what is trending if the budget is limited.
  3. Labor: A complex design and the amount of labor required does play a crucial role. Custom cabinetry with intricate details or special features will require more time and skilled labor which increases the cost.
  4. Size and Quantity: The overall size of the project and the number of cabinets required will naturally affect the total cost.
  5. Hardware & Accessories: The choice of hardware, such as hinges, handles and drawer slides can greatly increase costs. Again, speak to your project manager to discuss what options should be upgraded and which standard items are just as good but less expensive.
  6. Add-Ons: Custom features such as pullouts, organizers, charging drawers, etc. will increase costs. Cabinets Plus LLC relies on the quality of Rev-A-Shelf products and these items can be viewed on the Rev-A-Shelf website for many options!
  7. Installation: This cost must always be factored into the total cost. Professional installation requires Installers with many years of experience, and requires proper fitting and alignment. Installer rates are the major labor wage rates for all Cabinet Makers, and typically two installers are required per project. The costs are typically factored into each project based on expected hours required to complete the Installation and difficulty that arises due to style of cabinetry, level ceilings and flooring issues that they may encounter, etc. Crown Molding Installation does slightly impact Installation costs.
  8. Location: Out of area charges that require exceptional mileage and fuel can also impact costs. If Installers require overnight lodging and food expenses, this will also incur additional expense. In addition, for some commercial projects, Night Hours, Overtime Demands, regional wage rate differences and  Davis Bacon Wage Requirements may apply increasing costs.
